The Brier Group recently unveiled their latest venture Highbar, a chic rooftop oasis in the heart of the booming development of Manhattan’s bustling West Side.  Building on the success of Aspen, Amalia, and D’Or, restaurateur Greg Brier’s newest gem offers the city a rare rooftop respite with sweeping views of sunsets over the Hudson River.

With so many iPhones in New York City this summer, StarNYC designed the HighBar Website using a progressive enahancement platform to provide Flash Animation for computer viewers and a non Flash version for the iPhone. “We’re tired of busted up all-Flash Restaurant Websites that don’t work on the iPhone or make you watch a huge commercial before giving you the phone number or address when you already know you want to eat or drink there – New Yorkers don’t have time! In the HighBar design we balanced ease of access to information with a visually rich presentation, keeping the design very sparse as it is more about the photos, which speak for themselves.”
